All photography provided by Joe TenBrink
We are a husband and wife team, Joe and Michelle TenBrink. We started traveling together in 2010 and developed a passion to see the world, meet new people, and experience new food. In 2019, Michelle will retire from her 13.5 year career owning and operating a small farm to table café/bakery. Her new goal in life is to slow down and take time to focus on the things that really matter: family, friends, food and travel. Joe has a 20 year career with GE Aviation and has a new found passion for photography. He is thrilled to have more time to explore the world together.
Our mission is to share with you our love for food and travel. Through a variety of products it is our goal to enhance and simplify your travel experience. We also hope to bring our creativity in the kitchen to your home through recipes inspired by our travels and Michigan’s four seasons. We hope to inspire home cooks to embrace the seasons and local ingredients.
Behind the Name and Logo
Michelle’s grandfather was Croatian and the family surname, Cvetnich, means Blossomtime. Joe’s grandmother was Native American and Joe belongs to the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of Potawatomi Indians. We were inspired by Native American art from the Pacific Northwest. A special thanks to Glen Rabena of WA for providing the art for our logo. Please visit his website: www.glenrabena.com
